Noticeboard

In order to meet increasing demand on the GP service we have made changes  to the way same day GP care is accessed. Anyone with a problem that they believe requires a same day assessment will have to ring triage before 11am in the morning. This enables us to provide a safe and responsive same day service.
If anyone rings after 11am they can still access same day care via the Same day health centre, by ringing 111 for advice or if they feel their condition is very urgent by attending the Accident & Emergency Department.
Routine appointment can still be made as normal by ringing the practice and speaking to reception

GP Net Earnings

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Regent Square Group Practice in the last financial year was £63,864 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs,  2 part time GPs and 1 salaried GP.

It should be noted that the prescribed method of calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
